Containers by Litu recently completed a commercial container conversion project in Nairobi, featuring two office units and two storage units, each built from 20ft shipping containers.

This solution was designed to provide the client with a compact, professional workspace and secure storage, all while maximizing efficiency and minimizing construction time.

Fabrication and Customization at Embakasi Yard

The bulk of the work was done at our Embakasi fabrication yard, where the containers were modified, reinforced, and outfitted to meet the client’s specifications.

The two office units were fully partitioned and fitted with large windows for natural lighting, as well as secure doors, power outlets, lighting fixtures, and insulated wall panels for a comfortable working environment.

Each storage unit was designed for durability and easy access, with reinforced doors and heavy-duty floors to accommodate bulk goods and equipment.

Final Touches and Delivery to Site

After fabrication, all four units were transported to the client’s site in Nairobi for final placement and minor on-site adjustments. The entire project—from design to delivery—was completed in 2 weeks, offering a quick and cost-effective alternative to traditional construction.
